Spring Madness

Spring is here!

Nothing says spring quite like an Erdem dress.. or two?

Town and County April issue gave you splashes of colours and florals unlike any other in an editorial fantasy. A variety of season's best and most feminine dresses are accompanied by ladylike gloves and funky sunglasses gave them a refreshing edge. Prints crashed yet do not burn, while colors attractively overwhelms your senses.

From Oscar de La Renta mint gown to floral headpieces by Philip Treacy, springs literally blooms underneath our eyes, non?

IT'S MEISEL ALA TWITTER!

Meisel has excellent sense of humor and it shows on pages!

One of top ten editorials 2009 according to Models.com, Mesielpic had a special uniqueness and a reference to popular culture (hello, Twitter-Twitpic?). A send up on Twitter you can see famous faces, those who has graced the cover of Vogue Italy, like Agyness Deyn, Natasha Poly, Lara Stone, as if you have a privilege sneak-a-peek at their life, with the quirky captions and photos that screams personalities (and wearing fab clothes to boot!). Truly, it's a little bit unfair that Vogue Italy's not distributed to thir world countries (i.e. my sad Indonesia), it has the best editorials and none other than the Great Steven Meisel.

Beauty and The Beast by Annie Leibovitz

So I was browsing Meg Cabot's blog when I found these fairy-tale fashion editorial, by my fave photographer nonetheless!!!! It's from American Vogue circa 2005, with Drew Barrymore looking princess-like and gorgeous in priceless couture. Seriously. How like Annie Leibovitz to make a dream comes true! God, I'm suck a sucker for story telling-editorial!

Alberta Ferretti : Mind-Blowing Breeze by the Great Meisel

Yep. You can almost feel the wind, baby!
You see it here.
The new Alberta Ferretti campaign, shot by no other than Steven Meisel.
Tres chic. Tres amazing.
The ad pictured the models lounging in the library in ultra-chic creation of AF with pages of books blown by. The breeze pattern gives off unique visual all around.
Totally mind-blowing.
The sad thing is, it's simply not original, nothing new.
Dolce and Gabbana has done it, only with different models.
But still, Steven Meisel's done an insanely great job!
