HAUT-NUDE
Here's the thing : most people would cringe or feel slightly uncomfortable at seeing nude pictures (pervy guys not included!), even decent bare editorials, or nude fashion photos for you guys who don't get the fashion lingo.
Like peek-a-boo private parts and boobies? Even I'm not fond of seeing Raquel Zimmerman's flat chest so much, and she's like my most fave model ever. Yeah, nobody (esp women) like seeing IT all in its glory. So tips for anyone? Just avoid Terry Richardson's more scandalously bare work (cause he REALLY bares it all, even pubic hair which is gross, also eww). But there are exceptions, of course. Some masters do take beautiful pictures without offending our sensibilities (well, not that much, anyway). It's a wonder what magnificent styling, strategically placed long limbs, and very very excellent models could do. Afterall, high fashion is all about classy not tacky (or "hoochie" as Tyra Banks of ANTM always say).
Abbey Lee Kershaw and Edita Vilkeviciute are definitely becomin one of my faves lately. Give it to them to take sexy to the next level!
Abbey Lee rocked up both sassy and sultry in an editorial for i-D magazine, shot by David Bailey. I bet it's a fun one!

While Edita's flawlessly beautiful face (it really is illegal to be that pretty!) complements the soft sultriness of this flower editorial for Industrie Magazine. And she is actually a nudist in real life so haha it was all natural for her. That amazing pretty-face-lethal-body combination... I bet Victoria's Secret's gonna snap her up real soon.
Nothing but super duper fabulous lusty bridal editorial shot by none other than Mario Sorrenti for the Interview. Sure, some people just think it's a soft-core porn disguised as "art". But aren't most editorials? (Although, this pseudo-lesbian picts are really happening in fashion world right now. So the rest of us should just catch up to the speed, dahlings!)
I honestly don't give a fuck. Abbey Lee and Edita own this! This stunning editorial simply oozes dark sensuality. Also, an undeniable romantic vibe somewhere there, don't you think? Like chic gothic renaissance brides.

And speakin of brides, Julia Steigner sure looks like a magnificent one, wrapped in stunning Givenchy Couture, few strategically placed flowers, and very little else. Shot by Danielle Duella and Iango Henzi, this editorial really embodies the moody ambience that Tisci's going for. I got chills, seriously.

So all in all, I guess all you need for these "soft-core porns disguised in as art" photos are terrific photographers and models that can sultrying it up without being tacksville. Throw in flowers and magnificent couture gowns (albeit barely-there ones), et voila! It's haut-nude! Oh yeah, and everything always looks a tad classier in black and white. Just saying.
Alrighty, here's one more thing to tops this post up!

Stephanie Seymour, Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, Tatiana Patitz & Naomi Campbell by Herb Ritts, in 1989
more later,
XOXO
