Givenchy SS 2010 : love it!!!!
I can't believe I waited so long to write this, but there you go. Finally! Ricardo Tisci is ba-ma-mazing!!!!! I so love the spring collection! Fabbity fab with door's knob on, I'll say! Ya know how I'm such a sucker for black and white, Grecian-goddesslike draping, and a good jacket? Givenchy has it all!
The first one opening the show already stunned me deliciously, I just had to watch the rest!
Basically I categorized think of the collection as 6 groups :
black and white
ruffles
army-inspired
lacy white
bold prints
draped chiffon
The show's opened by this super cool graphic jacket!
Oohhh, I want one!

The first part remind me of this yin-yang concept, and how great Ricardo Tisci design it to life!
I love the black-on-white and white-on-black concept, or simply the blacks and the whites.
Those dresses are just marvelous, adn despite my knowledge that I would never, ever, be able to wear those ultra-cool Arabic-influenced drop-crotch harem pants, they're still my obsession anyway.
and all those slightly raised waistline achieve the impossible : making rthose models even taller and skinnier.

My other favorites are the drapped, wrapped, swathed tulle and chiffon dresses; they remind me of those delicious Grecian dress in Troy.

And the bold prints! They're everywhere : jackets, tops, dresses, leggings, platform wedges, skirts, even obi!!
And lastly the army inspired look. Gota admit, I'm never partial to so much green, but these ones takes the coup!
